The story of Rick & Dick Hoyt is one of real inspiration.

They have competed in many triathlons and once even trekked 3,700 miles across America. What they have accomplished together is simply amazing when you consider that Rick cannot walk or talk.

Becuase of a tragedy at birth Rick was left severly disabled, he learned to write his thoughts using a special computer. When he was 15 he told his dad he wanted to take part in a 5 mile benefit run.

His dad was not a runner but agreed to push him in his chair and for the first time in Rick’s life he didn’t feel handicapped.

Together they run

Together they compete

Together has power.

We were not made to run this race alone.

Philipians 4:13

I can do all this through him who gives me strength

Meet Ted……..

Ted Williams was a homeless man with an unlikely gift….a perfect voice for radio. But Ted had made some wrong choices which led to a life of crime, drugs and turning his back on family.

Last week though his fortunes changed when a man with a compassionate heart happened to stop by to talk to him, he learned he was trying desperately to get his life back on track.

Because of this man’s help, Ted has now been given multiple job offers from around the world including one with the NBA basketball team the Cleveland Cavaliers! Not only did the Cavaliers offer him a job, they also offered him a house!

Ted’s story is not an about a lone God working with a recovering drug addicted homeless person. It is the story of God working through the life of a committed Christian who was willing to take his faith outside the walls of the church.
